"This is a small historic hotel. We chose it for location, since we were driving through Virginia on 81. The staff is friendly; the rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it enough we'll stop there again on our way back home "

"For a on road overnight stay it was fine. Quiet clean well priced and eady access if you have animals traveling with you."

"Accessible room with tub still had broken window blind so did nut sleep due to bright lights from parking lot and tub with no stopper so how can take a bath? Since only 2 accessible rooms in this hotel, we have stayed in this room several times over past year and blind has been broken and no tub stopper go or over a year! Unacceptable and although the hotel is clean we likely will be looking for another for future trips south. "

"A large portion of the property is under construction. It is an older motel that still functions but appears to be barely keeping up with modern amenities. The HVAC system worked satisfactorily but was very noisy. The 'continental breakfast' was scant, cheap. It is probably among the lowest priced motels in the area but barely earns the budget price. I only needed a bed for sleep in the night then proceeded on my trip the next morning. The check-in employee was friendly and helpful."

"Breakfast? No only had bagels and cold items but had microwave items you could purchase? Which was odd? So we ate elsewhere after we checked out. "

"The employees taking care of the breakfast were great! They were very friendly and maintained the breakfast bar so well and kept the entire area super clean. The room was very clean and comfortable."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. No frills, though. Towels were small. Tissues in a purse-size packet. No lotion. Manager knocked on our door at 8:30am to ask if we were checking out that day."
