Wonderful experience

This was my second stay at this hostel and it was absolutely perfect! The first time I made a comment about cleanliness but this time, the kitchen was clean, there was room in the fridges, the bathrooms were cleaned everyday, never out of paper towels, the rooms were vacuumed daily as well. I only have positive comments! The staff were also very friendly, helpful and polite. On a different subject, I really enjoyed having a curtain for my bed in a 6 person room, I enjoyed the intimacy it gave and it was possible for me to go to sleep even with the room light on.

We stayed in the King Ensuite room and found it perfect for our needs. Had a bar fridge and jug in our room which was handy. Also handy having shower gel and shampoo and conditioner supplied. Bed was comfortable. TV with chromecast was a bonus to watch the Warriors and All Blacks games. And the location was very convenient for dining out, we wandered the town to explore the dining options every evening. Unfortunately at the time of our stay, the elevator was out of service and the bathroom fan was broken. The shared kitchen wasnt the cleanest, due to other people not cleaning up after themselves, but it was well stocked with everything we could need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It’s recommended for every backpacker. It’s close to the city center and the bunk bed and the public area both nice and friendly.

Great spot to stay a couple nights on a budget. Walking distance to everthing. The only thing that wasn't great was that there is no AC, so it was very hot trying to sleep.

FANTASTIC HOSTEL

Amazing stay at this hostel. Everything was super great. Elena, at the reception was very helpful and so pleasant to talk too. I have travel to many countries and this hostel is top on my list. I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed.

Cute hostel. Towels not included but otherwise excellent. Very convenient to ferry and parking just outside. However it was $15 NZD per night and not $10 as the listing suggests.

The place and kitchen was cleaned regularly. The rooms were small but had enough storage for luggage. I really liked that the beds had curtains, it helped make it feel less hostel like. The game room was often empty, guess that is a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. Over would definitely book and stay again.

A lot of potential, needs more constant cleaning

Upon arrival, the employees at the front desk were incredible! Very kind. At first, everything was clean but as time went by (I stayed for 2 weeks), the bathrooms became filthy, water everywhere all the time, no toilet paper, no hand paper, the floor was disgusting. The same thing happened in the room, as the girls left, they emptied their trash on the carpet and made it horrible for the ones who stayed (chips, kleenex, dirt on the carpets that were never cleaned). There was also no air conditioning, which I live well with in summer but everyone’s wet towels began to smell and the room was not an enjoyable place to be in. There was also a man, don’t know if he worked there or not but was always in the kitchen and seemed to make everyone uncomfortable, myself included.

Das Haka House in Auckland ist ein wirklich tolles, relativ ruhiges Hostel. Die Betten sind bequem, mit eigenen Steckdosen und USB-Ladeplätzen an jedem Bett. Außerdem gibt es an jedem Bett Vorhänge, sodass man eine gewisse Privatsphäre hat, auch wenn das Zimmer voll belegt ist. Es gibt kleine Schränke im Zimmer sowie eine Klappe unter dem Bett wo man z.B. seinen Koffer verstauen kann. Jeweils 2 Waschmaschinen und Trockner sind ebenfalls vorhanden und können via Smartphone bezahlt werden. Die Lage ist ebenfalls prima: mitten im Central Business District. Mir hat es hier sehr gefallen und ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

他の口コミでうるさいとあったが、特に気にならず。が、個室にドライヤーがあるはずか無かった。気づいた時には時すでに遅し。フロントの営業時間外だったので各階にある共有バスルームのドライヤーを使用。部屋にティッシュ無し。ホテルまで坂が多いため大型スーツケースは辞めた方が良い。

Værelset levede ikke op til vores forventninger i forhold til Hotels.coms fremlæggelse af værelset. Man får generelt minimalt for pengene, værelset er meget lille, der er meget varmt, støjende trafik, samt badeværelse og toiletforhold er fælles. Der er generelt mange bedre og billigere tilbud i Auckland by. Det skal dog siges at rengøringen er i top, og der er gode køkkenforhold.
