"Good stay for 80’s fest"

"We attended a family wedding held at the hotel. Everything was great for our overnight stay. The staff were very helpful helping us with our luggage as due to the age of the building there are no lifts available. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. A small negative for us was the shower was in a bathtub which was a little tricky to get in/out."

"The hotel is in a wonderful area, right next to the castle and within a good walking distance of the tram in nottingham. The hotel itself was clean but there was some renovations/construction going on so there was some plastic on the floor coming out of the lift on our floor and some drilling i could faintly here, but it wasnt intrusive. The only issues we had with the room were the sofabed not being comfortable, and there seemed to be some sewer gas coming up through the shower. I would definitely stay again just getting a seperate room if more then two people are staying."

"Staff were very helpful and efficient. Lovely bar to sit and relax in, hotel is in a great location in the city for restaurants. "

"The door handle in my room was broken, the toilet flush was inconsistent However the kind friendly staff compensated for that "

"There was a problem with the room being the shower attachment then the noisy radiator. The duty staff quickly attended and moved and upgraded me to a much more comfortable room. Thank you"
