The building is located in a very quiet and safe residential neighborhood, not far from all the cafes, shops, barbers, restaurants, massage parlors, monuments, tourist attractions. You name it. The room itself was top notch. Very clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The big Samsung smart tv was great too. This was our first time in Hanoi, and will stay at the Hotel du Lac Signature again. The breakfast had an amazing selection and great views of the city. If you have time, book the onsen experience! "This place was quiet at night, which, for Vietnam, is a big deal. It was close enough to the old quarter to be walkable, but far enough that you aren’t woken up by honking taxis or other street noise in the middle of the night (though it starts promptly at 7AM!) Host was very accommodating and available. "

The reception staff (Tony and his team) were friendly, very prompt with requests and made everything for me very easy, they even kept my luggage for 2 days after i checked out to go to Sapa. The location of the hotel is convenient and close to train street, easily walkable to most places or a very cheap grab ride away. Will book again next time I am in Hanoi. "
