Das Kulturhotel liegt in einer verkehrsberuhigten Zone mit ausreichend hoteleigenen Parkplätzen direkt am Fürst Pückler Park. Es eignet sich somit hervorragend für Spaziergänge im wundervollen weitläufigen Park mit Schloss, Kutschfahrten, Neiße, Fürst Pückler Stein, Brücken, Rehen, Pilzen ... aber auch als Ausgangspunkt zum Beispiel für einen Besuch des nahegelegenen Rhododendronparks Kromlau. Das Hotelzimmer war groß und wir hatten ein gemütliches Bett. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich, lecker und wir durften dieses gemeinsam mit unserem Hund in der Hotel-Lounge einnehmen. Unser Hund war im Hotel wirklich sehr willkommen. Auch das Restaurant können wir nur sehr empfehlen, Die Auswahl ist, auch für Vegetarier, umfang- und abwechslungsreich und das Essen ist ausgesprochen lecker. Wir empfehlen zum Nachtisch unbedingt das selbstgemachte Apfeleis! Das Personal ist ausgesprochen hilfsbereit, zuvorkommend und kompetent. Dies begann schon beim Check-In (schnell, informativ, höflich) und setzte sich beim Frühstück (Bereitstellung Tablett, Ermöglichung Frühstück mit Hund, Kaffee in der Lounge), an der Rezeption (Hinweise, Geschenkboutique, Reservierungen) und im Restaurant (wirklich sehr nette und auch humorvolle Bedienung, mit Hund in der Lounge) fort. Ich empfehle unbedingt die Pückler-Eis-Verkostung mit dem Chefkoch des Hotels. Sehr passend, unaufdringlich, informativ, lecker und natürlich sehr pücklerisch. Pücklermania in the air. :) Bis zum nächsten mal!

Freundliches Personal beim Empfang, schönes Zimmer, schwächen beim Frühstück. Frühstück in zwei Zeitzonen aufgeteilt, Personal überfordert. Brötchen vom Bäcker wären wünschenswert. Zu Beginn der zweiten Frühstückszeit war das Buffet schnell mit deutlichen Lücken.

Besuch der Umgebung lohnt

Es handelt sich um ein sehr schönes Hotel mit vielen Servicemöglichkeiten, die aber zum Teil leider verschenkt wurden. Das sehr noble und auch preislich recht anspruchsvolle Restaurant (Kichererbsensuppe für 21,- €) mit herausragendem Service steht im Widerspruch zum Zimmer, wo ein Fernseher mit sehr kleinem Monitor vorhanden ist. Keine Frage beim Check-out: "Hat es Ihnen gefallen?" oder "War alles in Ordnung?" Es gibt einen Saunenbereich, den wir nicht genutzt haben. Von einer Gesichtsbehandlung nahm meine Frau Abstand, nachdem sie gesehen hat, sie solle ungefähr 100,- € dafür aufbringen. Die Umgebung (Schloss und Park) sind wunderschön und lohnen unbedingt eine Reise.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war angenehm. Das Personal war freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich (auch wenn der Fokus viel auf Eierspeisen lag, die ich leider nicht mag). Gut fand ich den Lachs sowie die Würstchen und Hackbällchen. :-) Vielleicht könnte man - wenn man so viele Eier hat - auch Pfannkuchen oder Waffeln anbieten. Das Zimmer wer ausreichend groß, ebenso das Bad. Wünschenswert wäre jedoch ein größerer TV (als junger Mensch konnte ich kaum das Menu lesen) und etwas größere Handtücher für den Körper. Ansonsten alles sauber und gut.

Insgesamt wirklich nette Unterkunft. Etwas bedauerlich, dass es auf 90 Zimmer nur 60 Parkplätze gibt. Eine Parkplatzgarantie gibt es also nicht und wir haben einen Strafzettel kassiert. Und das Essen im Restaurant Grüner Fürst ist vom Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht stimmig.

Was diese Unterkunft auszeichnet, ist ihre Lage direkt am Pücklerpark, in dem man innerhalb von 2 Minuten ist. Die Unterkunft bietet auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Was mir überhaupt nicht gefallen hat, sind folgende Punkte: - Es gibt sehr rigide Essenzeiten; Abendessen entweder um 17.30 oder um 19.30 Uhr; Frühstück entweder um 7.30 oder um 9.00 Uhr. Wir mussten am Sonntag um 7.30 Uhr frühstücken, da die Tische für 9 Uhr bereits alle gebucht waren. Alternativ hätte es kein Frühstück gegeben. Das war nicht entspannend und kein Ausschlafen möglich. - Die Zimmer wurden aus Gründen des "Umweltschutzes" und der Kontaktbeschränkungen nur alle 2-3 Tage gereinigt, die Betten deswegen nicht gemacht und Handtücher nicht gewechselt. Grund scheint mir da eher Personalmangel zu sein, zumal ich niemanden vom Personal mit Masken gesehen habe oder bemerkt hätte, dass Abstandsregeln eingehalten wurden. Ganz ehrlich, da kann ich mir auch eine Ferienwohnung nehmen; das wäre billiger gewesen und ich hätte zu meinen Zeiten frühstücken können. - Das Personal ist generell freundlich, nicht sehr geschult (Krümel werden von der Tischdecke gepustet (Corona!) und nicht unbedingt schnell.

Perfekte Lage am Fürst Pückler Park.

Hotel in Top Lage am Fürst Pückler Park. 500m von der Grenze zu Polen gelegen. Die abendlichen Restaurantplätze waren bereits ausgebucht, also sollte man im vorfeld reservieren.
