"Vom Dach des Hotels konnte man den Dhaulagiri, 8167m sehen. Schon 2015 war ich auf der Suche nach einem Ort, von wo man diesen 8000-er sehen kann. Auf gut Glรผck fuhr ich damals mit dem Bus nach Baglung, sah ein Reklame-Schild fรผr das Peace Palace Hotel mit dem Dhaulagiri darauf, ging dorthin und fragte nach dem Dhaulagiri-Blick. Vom Dach war der Berg damals in Wolken verhรผllt. 2020 konnte ich den Berg an allen Tagen sehen. Im ganzen Ort sah ich keinen westlichen Touristen. Vielleicht bin ich...

"Lots of staff standing around but very few sermed to know what to do or what to say. Very few understood english. Breakfast was below average for typical hotels in Nepal & India. I called front desk to ask about getting a heater for the room and was told "we dont have heaters". Called again an hour later and was told same thing, but that the AC in room can provide heat as well. Staff was sent to provide heat as requested. The view from my room was excellent, even tho i was only on floor 1."
