The spa was a nice surprise, great pool. The rooms was huge, but no aircon, so very warm in the summer. The bar was never attended, so difficult to get beverages at any time. The food was limited in choice and average quality. But the location is stunning.

A nice hotel in a fantastic location

We had a lovely stay in a family suite. Spacious and modern. We would have liked a balcony, however. The beds were comfortable enough, the internet worked great, even when we had several devices connected. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet doesn't have loads of choice, but is tasty. The evening meals are the same. A small amount of options and small portions, but delicious. The pools are great and the pool area is clean, with complimentary tea, coffee and water to drink. The walks around the hotel reward you with stunning views.

Stayed one night during the snowstorms of 2023 that shut down large parts of southern Germany and the service and hospitality we received at this hotel were unapparelled. We stayed here just as an overnight after driving all day from Austria but it was one of the most memorable nights on our driving trip around Germany and Austria. Highly recommend!

Peaceful hotel overlooking the black forest with several small villages and towns that have lots of bars, restaurants and things to do. With comfortable rooms and nice facilities, our stay was very pleasant. We only stayed for one night as a stop off point on the way home as we wanted somewhere to relax after visiting lots of towns and doing lots of driving. I don't think the hotel is really set up for our kind of stay as the reception is not maned between 21:00 and 07:00 which made checking out a problem for us. We had to leave at 6am and found that all the doors were locked and no staff to let us out. We had to hunt for an escape door that wasn't alarmed to leave. There was definitely a shortage of staff in general, they were all lovely and good at their job but some facilities, such as the pool side bistro were not manned so we couldn't easily order refreshments without going to find someone who then had to call the bar and get them to bring drinks. I'm sure it's because we were there in their off season but I do think that if they accept bookings then all the advertised facilities need to be properly staffed and I think that a 4 star hotel should have reception staff on at all times.

Great location in the Black forest with plenty of nice walking trails nearby. The rooms were spacious,thankfully we got moved to a nice wellness suite due to construcrion works. The pool area inside and outside is nice although we didn't spend much time there due to the construction work. The staff were friendly from reception to housekeeping until it came to our first night at dinner where it really depends on who is serving you. We had a waiter who was not so friendly and did not seem to like serving so much so we left early. Mrs.Brose was fantastic and so professional and looked after us really well including making sure gluten free options were available and went one step ahead and had gluten free bread already on our breakfast table and she was on top of everything ensuring breakfast ran smoothly with her friendly approach. Manu the customer service manager was also fantastic in looking after us and thankfully we moved to his dinner service area for the second night which was a totally different experience to the first night in a much better way. Manu made us feel welcome and was so professional having listened to our unwelcomed experience the previous night. The good aspect about this hotel is that the the management listened and acknowledged our poor experience on arrival and thanks to Viola turned into a most memorable relaxing and enjoyable time. We really appreciated it so thank you Manu, Viola and Mrs.Brose. Our 2 little dogs also had a good time.

Wir waren drei Nächte im Hotel Schliffkopf. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und professionell. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Es gab abends 4 bis 5 Gänge und das Essen war köstlich. Am frühen Nachmittag kann man zusätzlich Kaffee u Kuchen bekommen oder auch etwas herzhaftes. Die Pools sind schön gross und sauber, wir haben sie oft genutzt.Unser Zimmer war auch sehr schön und sauber und besonderer Dank gilt der Hausdame Agnes, sie ist einfach wunderbar. Das Personal ist absolut freundlich und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Was auch noch erwähnenswert wäre, unser Hund war willkommen, bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir ein Hundebett, Hundenäpfe und noch einige Annehmlichkeiten für die Fellnase. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungenes, erholsames Wochenende.

Wir hatten ende August Übernachtung mit Frühstück gebucht – das Frühstück war sehr gut für jeden etwas dabei und wirklich gut geschmeckt. Es gab viele verschiedene Wurst und Käsesorten – und Sekt war auch mit dabei!Die Unterkunft selbst war sehr sauber, aber das Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen und kein tres Chick und Hype. Der Wellnessbereich war sehr schön und großzügig! Von dem Hotel kann man tolle Wandertouren, Radtouren oder Ausflüge machen! Für gehbehinderte Senioren ist zwar ein barrierefreies Ankommen im Zimmer möglich, jedoch dort, entweder mit Badewanne oder Dusche schlecht zum einsteigen. Es gibt auch lediglich nur einen Behindertenparkplatz, deshalb am besten Senioren an der Hoteltüre absetzen und die restlichen 30 m weiter weg parken. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von mehreren Tagen ist das Hotel prima. Auch Hunde können dort mitgebracht werden, allerdings muss man sich bewusst sein,, dass diese im Gastraum, sowie im Wellnessbereich nicht anwesend sein dürfen! Bei der Zimmerbuchung unbedingt vorab klären, dass wirklich ein Hund mit dabei ist, sonst hat man seine Probleme, wegen den Zimmern! Ansonsten ein charmantes Hotel!

Un séjour inoubliable

Le séjour à l’hôtel Schliffkopf a été un moment magique et exceptionnel. Aucun point négatif : le personnel est très sympathique et souriant, les services comme les massages sont réalisées par des mains de maître. Les parties sauna sont de qualité, les activités gratuites comme l’Aqua gym et les médiations agréables. La piscine intérieure bénéficient de nombreux transats très confortables et la piscine extérieure, chauffée a été délicieuse malgré la fraîcheur de la météo, de nombreux espaces calmes où se reposer à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur font de l’hôtel un lieu paisible et plein de sérénité. Vous avez la possibilité de vous restaurer avec des boissons fraîches ou chaudes au bistro et gratuitement près des piscines où prendre un kaffee kuchen au bar de l’hotel. Enfin, les chambres sont spacieuses (nous avons séjourné dans deux chambres simples avec une amie et la sienne a été surclassée), propres et décorées avec goût. Vous avez la possibilité de faire de nombreuses randonnées et un arrêt de bus est desservi devant l’hôtel pour aller à Baiersbronn. Pour résumer, notre séjour a été une parenthèse magique dans un havre de paix. Cet hôtel mérite largement ses étoiles. Nous sommes sûres et certaines d’y retourner.

Wir hatten eine sehr schönen Aufenthalt und alles war wirklich bestens! Vielen Dabk dafuer! Sauberkeit, Lage, Service. Definitiv wuerden wir hier wieder hingehen Vielleicht ein paar Hinweise. - die Massagen die Angeboten werden sind extrem teuer. 25min fuer 43€. Zudem haben wir nur 22min oder 20min Massage bekommen... das war doch ärgerlich und wuerde ich so nicht mehr buchen dort - Essen im Hotelrestaurant ist sehr sehr gut allerdings doch auch sehr hochpreisog und die Portionen sind schon extrem klein also bitte bedenken - beim Fruehstueck wuerde eine zweite Kaffeemaschine Sinn machen der Filterkaffee wird nur in Kannen angeboten und dann staut sich alles an einem Kaffeeautomaten. - Fruehstueck ist absolut Standard nichts besonderes wird geboten könnte man vielleicht auch etwas ausbauen mit mehr frischem Salat etc

Das war unser zweiter, diesmal längerer Aufenthalt im Hotel. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns, dass wir beim Einchecken die Konus-Karte für den ÖPNV nicht erhielten. Dafür fanden wir dieses Mal im Hotelzimmer Bodylotion vor, die gab es beim letzten Besuch nicht. Völlig absurd war, dass wir bei unseren täglichen Besuchen in der Saunalandschaft IMMER Handwerker antrafen, die dort irgendwas machten. Und zwar immer in Arbeitskleidung und -schuhen! Der Gipfel des Wahnsinns war dann, als wir in der Sauna (90°) lagen, dass die Glastür aufging und 2 Handwerker hereinkamen, die sich an den Lampen zu schaffen machten - während wir da nackig auf den Bänken lagen. Geht's noch??? Könnten die vielleicht vor 10 Uhr am Morgen dort arbeiten? Und warum täglich? Und dann laufen sie immer mit ihren dreckigen Straßenschuhen dort herum? Abgesehen davon finde ich es seltsam, als Frau dort nackt zu duschen, während hinter mir ständig Handwerker herumlaufen!!!!!

Falsk markedsføring og dårlig service

Billederne på Hotels.com og virkeligheden har intet med hinanden at gøre. Da vi gør opmærksom på det, starter receptionisten med at lyv og flader det derefter ud, uden nogensinde at komme tilbage, med det lovede svar. Betjeningen i restauranten var virkeligt ring. Maden ok, uden at være prangende. Værelsets terrasse var ikke velholdt og virkede ikke ren. Wellness område ok. Fitness faciliteter virkeligt gode. Beliggenheden er fantastisk, med naturen og skønne vandreruter som nærmeste og eneste nabo⭐️

Nettes, toll gelegenesHotel, mit einem durchweg freundlichen u zuvorkommenden Personal. Der Spa-Bereich war sehr gut, einige Massage-Düsen im Pool haben leider nicht funktioniert. Frühstücksbüfett u Abendessen waren gut bzw. sehr gut.

Environnement calme et isolé belle suite,piscine et hammam sympa. Pour le petit déjeuner malheureusement 40 mns avant la fermeture rien n'était renouvelé. Pour avoir un chocolat faut demandé car pas en libre service. Chien bienvenue dommage quil faille le laisser dans la chambre.. le fauteuil qui sert de lit pour 2 enfants est trop étroit surtout pour des garçon de 15 et 17 ans un de mes fils a dormi avec nous faute de place suffisante.
