"Great stay - paid to upgrade to larger Club room - well appointed with a huge bed and 2 lounger chairs. TV had Chromecast which was a bonus. One night of my stay I had our dog visit and was provided with a bed, water/food bowl and treats which was a nice touch."
"Gorgeous room. Really big. Very clean. Very easy from the train station. We dodbt use the bar hut it looked well stocked and comfortable seats. The bed was comfortable we both had a great night's sleep."
"Hollins Hall has been a great and grand hotel in the past I think. Does it need a revamp? Absolutely! That said, the bed was comfy. It caters for the golfing fraternity mostly it seems. Where Hollins Hall isn't as grand as the name might imply, we do stay there often as it's close to family we visit. In the broad scheme of things it's fine if you need a comfy bed for the night and it's very good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean ( we had an accessible room - the toilet was too low with someone with mobility issues) the shower was fab and the bar on 2nd floor was nice and serves food until 9.30pm. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food quality."
"I have stayed at Dakota before and this time did not dissapoint, The staff are always welcoming and the hotel is spotless. I would highly recommend staying here."
