"This was our third time at Mandela Desa. While things have changed around the villas since we were there last in 2018, it still offers the peace and tranquillity and wonderful obliging staff as always. The View Suite still offers the amazing rice field and mountain views and having breakfast on the veranda was a favourite time of day for us. "This villa was so spacious for 8 pax and the pool was amazing. I was blown away with the hospitality of the housekeepers, they were so helpful and even borrowed a pool basket for us to enjoy a dining experience in the pool. This location is quite out of the way and inaccessible to the main road. However, it is very tranquil and quiet. Would recommend a stay here for a day or two."

"This property was perfect for quietness, with only the sounds of the birdlife. Every morning at 6am there was chanting sounds for five minutes. For me, the other all condition of the property was adequate, if you can overlook the minor repair works that were needed, sweet! I had a villa with a pool, the A/C worked fine & the pool was refreshing to jump into after a long day of adventures. Breakfast was included in my package, very basic, but enough.
