"This is a no-contact property. I didn't receive my entry information and was too busy working/travelling to be able to contact the property until quite late. I was rather panicked, but I received a quick response. The property is old and has a charm. Unfortunately I found the property quite noisy, with others staying in the property talking/shouting and creaking floor boards. I imagine that's just luck of the draw."

"Check-in was easy (and earlier than expected!), but my door was already unlocked when I got there, and the code did not work when I tried to lock it. I texted the number and a lovely friendly staff person(Stacy) immediately came and tried to fix it. She ended up giving me a physical key. I appreciated the quick attention and resolution. Room was very sparse - it could use a small bureau or desk (some kind of storage or tabletop). Tons of easily accessible outlets. Room was clean and comfortable. The coffee machine in the lobby was awesome! Also I loved the quick path to the lake, and the great restaurant/pub next door. Overall a very positive experience!"

"I have stayed here many times but now there seems to be no staff on site ever. This is disconcerting for a woman traveling alone. I get thet not all small hotels have staff 24/7 but I am not sure what anyone would even do if they had an issue getting into their room or some sort of emergency."
