"we were travelling to Ireland to bring my brother’s ashes back to bury him, I spoke to the owner of this house on the day of travelling only to be told they do not advertise their property with Hotels.com we were left stranded and having to sort out accommodation last minute, the owner tried to help us as Bunclody is a very small town and not plentiful of accommodation. We ended up finding somewhere which was not ideal as it was room only instead of a whole house with cooking...

"The Abraham was a comfortable stay in a self-contained farm cottage. It had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a good shower, warm heater and washing machine. Sean was a very friendly and helpful landlord with plenty of helpful advice about dinner options and local sites. We had a wonderfully quiet couple of days. "

We checked in and discovered our room didn’t have a bath, we were swapped to a room with one immediately, not a problem to the staff. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was also spotless. Bath and shower were separate, water pressure was fab and hot water always available no matter what time of day you were using it. Mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine with pods, hair dryer, iron and ironing board all provided.
Breakfast selection was plentiful and hot food was replenished regularly....

What are holiday rentals like in Ballybeg?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Ballybeg. Holiday rentals feature amenities like laundry facilities and kitchens so you'll be comfy for your stay. If you're concerned about cleanliness, a holiday rental can provide a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and busy front desks while still allowing you the experience of travel.
