"Our room was basic but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. It’s a nice location, easy to walk to everything and access the train to the monastery. The walls of the hotel are very thin so you can hear most everything in all the other rooms so bring ear plugs! Staff is very nice. "
"Great to stay in this historic structure. Out of Barcelona is a plus. If you’re looking for something else other than peace and tranquility this is a good option. We ate in the bar area. Food was mediocre and staff somewhat “ black and white” in affect. Montserrat is a good day trip from here. Room was comfortable."
"A guest house in a medieval village close to the sanctuary of monserrat. A beautiful setting in a village without many amenities. I was traveling back and forth to Barcelona for a trade show bus and train service to the city is very good and if you like a tranquil setting with few dining options this is your place"
"This property is in a good location for accessing the city - but that’s where the good things about this property ends. The property is deceptively appealing - it looks nice from the outside and inside the hallway, but the apartments themselves leave much to be desired. First, the floors are filthy. I had to wash my feet off every night. Second, the bed and the pillow are like sleeping on rocks. A “duplex” with a sofa bed that is not fit for human sleeping… third, the shower is tiny, can barely turn around. The overall cleanliness is lacking in all areas. Fourth, the walls are so thin you can hear the apartment next door talking at all hours. Totally interrupts sleep and makes “enjoying” the basic need of sleep impossible. Lastly, the people who run this apartment are not eager to help you at all. Their reception hours are extremely limited and they do not assist with booking cabs etc. made my trip more stressful than it already was under the circumstances (family member in hospital). Overall, would not recommend this property. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. "
"It's a beautiful and tranquil property nestled in the mountains with a lush open field. It was the perfect place to recharge and spend some quiet time."
"The owner, Jordi, and his staff went out of their way to help me. He gave me a ride from the train station to his nearby restaurant, where I had a fantastic dinner. Then he dropped me off at the hotel. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The front desk attendant was kind enough to drive me to the bus stop for my journey to Barcelona. I was most grateful to be spared a long walk. Muchisimas gracias a todos!"
