"Loved staying at Captain Max's Hostel. It was welcoming, clean and the room was spacious. Captain Max is the kindest man and very accommodating. He was friendly and made a delicious breakfast in the morning. Additionally, the location is great and just a street over had a strip of great seafood restaurants. Our stay was great and the value for the money was excellent."

"Staff was really, really great! The front desk woman was very helpful in arranging a tour for my family of 4 when everywhere else it seemed to be booked (Easter week). Breakfast was nice. Our room was more like an apartment and a short walk from the common area. Very spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, living area and a kitchenette. A/C worked well (and was needed!). Close enough walk to the water/center of town/dock/Darwin museum. "
