"I must say that we stayed in July, which is low season and the hotel is doing some pretty big renovation. So there were very few customers. I think they should have close the entire hotel at that point. This being said, the room was spacious and very clean. The landscape is very well maintained and the hotel have a colonial feel. The pool is great too. We want to say that the staff is very helpful and kind. A special mention to Souli and Milo that made our breakfast very pleasant every morning. The only downside (that can be a good thing) is that the hotel is 8 to 10 minutes by car from the city centre. They have a shuttle every hour and a half. We didn’t mind since we rented a scooter. As I read before going the different services available by the hotel (massage, day trip, etc) are out of price."

"have had the great fortune of being a guest at Rosewood on numerous occasions, and each visit reminds me why I always look forward to returning. This most recent stay was for three nights, and once again, the experience was exceptional. I could easily make a lengthy list of reasons why Rosewood continues to stand out, but for me, it always comes back to two things: the architectural richness of the property, and above all, the extraordinary hospitality of the people who bring it to life. The Rosewood team has a rare ability to make you feel not simply accommodated, but genuinely cared for. Every detail feels intentional, every interaction thoughtful, and every moment quietly refined. There is a sense that the entire team is there with one purpose — to enrich your visit in a way that feels effortless, gracious, and deeply personal. The property itself offers everything a traveler could hope for when seeking serenity in the heart of nature. Surrounded by a canopy of lush trees, natural gardens, and the peaceful sound of a tranquil stream running through the property, Rosewood creates a sanctuary that feels both elegant and restorative. I am already excited to return again next year. "Super friendly staff. Mina at front desk arranged tours for us, pickup at airport before arrival. Tommy's were super spacious, super clean and high quality furniture. WIFI was tricky one afternoon but quickly solved. Deep bow to Mina, staff, drivers and personnel at restaurant. Breakfast had the best variety I have seen, and dinner had many choices. We stuck with Laotian, which was excellent, but there were pleb of choices including western and Asian. Great hotel, super staff "

"Khamsone and his wife run a very peaceful and clean place. I stayed in the Marigold suite and the morning sunrise was beautiful. Highly recommend staying here if you’re okay with staying outside of the main center."
