Room and bathroom could have been cleaner, dust all over the covered garbage bin in bathroom, huge cobweb in corner, and large peeling area on wall of bathroom. Large cobwebs at top of one window. No electrical outlet by beds, major frustration because husband uses CPAP machine to sleep. Continental breakfast was good, lots of fruit. Temperature of water hard to control in shower. No washcloths...

"We stayed for one night at The Conifers guest house in a deluxe double room. We were welcomed at check in, which was very quick and efficient. The room was comfortable, quiet and airy (on a hot day), with tea and coffee available and a reasonable sized shower room. We had a good nights sleep in a large and comfortable bed. The next morning we had a good, buffet style breakfast which also included eggs freshly made and served by the friendly staff. We were able to park on the property. Spaces...

"Beautiful, spacious room with good facilities (the sherry was a really nice touch; I sampled and I must say, it was delicious!). Parking was a doddle - we got a spot directly opposite the building and were able to park unrestricted for our entire overnight stay without issue. Location was perfect as you are literally steps away from the shops/pubs/restaurants/square. The only negative for us was the noise from the road; we were on the ground floor at the front of the building and the traffic...

"Location-wise - 20 minutes from the city centre Clean spacious room Lucky we were facing the road so air could come in. ONLY DRAWBACKS are - Check-in instructions were a pain - the message said to do it once you are near the location, but this took 20 minutes under the summer heat- so a no-no, the person on the Ring camera tried to help, but the connection was so bad he sounded like a broken droid. The Internet was bad, too. I had a hard time using anything at all."
