We enjoyed our stay here. Again, check-in by Karian was great. Breakfast was better than I expected and thank you to the barrista for the decaffenated coffee. Breakfast had plenty of options and plenty of room for guests. Fitness facility is adequate. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. The courtyard with hot tubs, cold plunge, sauna and firepits as well as fireplace and table is really nice. Parking was great. A bit of a hike into town, but definitely walkable in 15-20 minutes. Grocery store walkable as well. Room was spacious enough with refrig and microwave. I would stay here again and certainly wish I was there tonight rather than my next hotel room.

The hotel was what I would expect from a mid-price chain hotel. For the cost of staying here, we were disappointed. Our room faced a next door property and looked out at the windows of neighboring rooms 20 feet away. No room cleaning on the weekend except by special request and we weren't told that until the weekend arrived. The good? The staff was friendly and helpful and having the option of indoor parking was great! I understand this is in a resort area, but we have stayed in better properties in other resort areas for considerably less than what we were charged here. Our opinion? Not worth the premium price charged for the value received.

Location was the biggest plus for this property. It was located within walking distance of downtown Banff. The staff was very professional and friendly. It has a welcoming lobby with two fireplaces. The king balcony rooms are not very large, but the view helps compensate for the size. The hallway carpets could use replacing, but the room itself was very clean.

The room was tiny with angled ceilings that we bumped our heads on. The lighting in the room was poor - to little light in bathrooms for makeup or bedroom for reading. the hotel staff as great and the food options were adequate. Glad to have a breakfast included. Parking was convenient for a small fee. The staff was terrific. a little too far from main center of town for dining options - 15 minute walk, but bus options were available.

We loved our stay at Canalta Lodge, the room was great with two beds, good space & clean. The breakfast in the morning was very handy and we loved walking in to town. The parking was easy and cheap for Banff. The staff were very helpful. The aircon worked well and was lovely and quiet which was a nice changed from some previous hotels. We would definitely stay again thanks for a great stay.

This was my second time staying here and it doesn’t disappoint! It’s a bit further down the main road, takes about 15 minutes to walk downtown Banff. The staff is super nice, the hot tubs in the back are wonderful and the breakfast is great!

The hotel is good with all the amenities that one would expect but it is not worth 650 CAD a night. We stayed there for 3 nights and spent 2000 CAD. That feels like a rip off. Breakfast was the same every single day and basic pancakes, potatoes and scrambled eggs. Room was small. No coffee in the room but unwanted expresso was available. No free coffee available in the lobby. They cleared right after breakfast. The bathroom light was so dim that it wasn’t suitable for shaving. They didn’t even provide water bottles. After requesting room service after 2 nights, they didn’t refill body wash and didn’t provide enough towels. Overall it was worth 200-250 CAD per night

Can do better with breakfast. We had the SAME breakfast every morning from our 4 nights staying there and it is not cheap. Some weird egg, sausage potato, diluted oatmeal. Change it around a bit. Room condition: had to change room on the first day cause it had some weird foul smell. Subsequent days, sometimes they gave us coffee pods or tidy up the room, some days they did not.
