No elevator; doors closed upon checking iat 11:00 pm; although it said to be open until 12:00am. Had to wait almost an hour for someone to give me a room key at the 4th floor with no elevator or luggage assistance. The street and the hotel are dirty and poorly kept.
This is a great hotel for its rooms however on this occasion I found staff accommodating and at the same time combative.
Booked 3 nights. On arrival, room had no hot water. I was put from their standard room to deluxe room. In the morning I requested clean sheets. In the afternoon found housekeeping had not changed sheets so when requested, was refusedand put in a standard room with only one towel. The following morning, early, again asked for clean sheets; despite repeated requests did not get housekeeping until early evening.
Staff refused to engage with me.
Again this is a great priced hotel however the customer service was woeful.
Hotel has no elevator so have to use stairs. Good clean hotel in a convenient location.
Sadly, the stay was let down by there being no hot water (and no explanation provided). There was no hot water on the check in time nor the following day when checking out.
What a pity! This is a brand new place, super clean, modern, cheap, and in a great location. It would be an easy choice for returning customers if management didn't make such an effort to kill repeated business. The biggest issue, perhaps the only dealbreaker is that the lobby is left unattended most of the day. There is a number to call but what if you lock yourself out of your room? The phone in the lobby doesn't make external calls. What if you do not have your cell phone with you or can't make roaming calls? To make things worse, a sign claims the staff will be back in 15 minutes. Some arriving guests apparently believed that and waited one hour to check in. Lucky for them I was passing by and called the staff on my cell. This happened in the middle of the afternoon, well within check in time. In addition to the absentee staff, my room had a serious ant problem, housekeeping was not available between 11am and 3pm (more like until 5 pm in my experience) and I could not connect Chromecast or my wireless router to the wifi, which was otherwise very good. This hotel does not have an elevator but it seems factored in the room price. I was on the third floor which wasn't bad.
Clean, updated hotel in a safe neighborhood. Best part is the street food vendors located in the 2 nearby alleys - delicious grilled chicken, papaya salad, and seafood. For the price, this is a great hotel that is extremely clean and quieter alley for a good night's sleep.
