"A wonderful remote setting in a beautiful building. The small village itself has a couple of restaurants and ice cream shops for a nice slow stroll. The hotel had incredibly friendly and helpful staff who were always willing to help. Especially when my limited French ran out and we were able to switch to English too. "Lovely building and we had a really excellent dinner - the catering team was changing so they weren't on their new menu yet so what we had was effectively a one-off. Lots of attention from the chap who was taking over the running of the kitchen. We had an automatic email from the property saying we had pre-payed but when we checked out we were told we hadn't. That caused some confusion especially as the man at checkout kept referring to our Expedia booking - I know Hotels.com is part to Expedia...
