"One of the worst travel experiences we've ever had - completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available.
After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out...
"Literie confortable, nous avions une chambre qui donnait sur l’avenue d’Etigny nous avons eu la musique du bar jusqu’à 1h du mat puis les cris des gens dans la rue toute la nuit, peut être plus calme avec un chambre qui ne donne pas sur l’avenue?
Je ne recommande pas pour les gens qui ont le sommeil léger "

Après réclamation une nouvelle chambre nous a été donnée. Cela ne change rien au fait, que nous avons réservé une chambre dans hôtel ayant toutes les caractéristiques d’un établissement fermé, pas averti que le restaurant était fermé et qu’il fallait se rendre dans un autre établissement pour le petit déjeuner . "Reg and sue great hosts. Loved the room, great bed and bed linen which made for a very comfortable nights sleep. Extremely quiet as well. Breakfast was a joy with the other guests sharing their travel stories and sue providing brilliant service and oodles of good food and coffee. "
