Its a simple check in with an elctronic app door access. Rooms are clean and you are given towels and shower gel/shampoo(not the best but its still something). Facilities are decent. Its not far from metro, bus stop and trams. Overall a good place to stay. Can get a bit noisy on the streets sometimes(but imo u wont find a qiet place in barca)

The property had an unpleasant odor, often resembling rotten fish. The kitchen equipment was dirty, outdated, and largely unusable — including worn-out Teflon pans. The stove didn’t work and there were no instructions provided on how to operate it. The tap water had a strong chlorine smell and didn’t seem safe to drink, and unfortunately, no bottled water was provided upon arrival. On a positive note, the check-in staff were friendly and communicated well throughout the process.

Transportation was excellent in that area. Many cafes which served good food and coffee. Mall and beach about a ten minute walk. The place was not clean. No TV.

Great value modern facility.

There was a hiccup with the given room being a single as opposed to a twin. This was quickly resolved, where we were allotted an apartment with individual bedrooms and en-suites. A bit of a ways from the city centre but with great transport links, tram, bus and metro.

Great space but admin is weird

Very convenient location. Pool on the roof was perfect for dipping in after a hot day. Room was great for a solo person, complete with utensils and tools to cook. It's very much an adult dorm vibe. A couple of awkward things was that I was trying to contact them via phone to see if I could drop off my luggage before my check in, and no one would answer via hotels.com site or answer the phone. Also I lost my card key (the cheap plastic kind) and they did not have any spares so someone had to let me into my room every time I left. And then they said they had to charge me 20 euros for losing it, which is ridiculous and I have never encountered that at any other hotel

Nice accommodation for the cost. Enjoyed having a roof pool available. Close to the tram and metro. Cafes and supermarkets nearby. No entertainment options nearby but having accessible transport helps out.

Nice Stay

It is a student residence which is very surprising when you arrive because i did not notice when I booked. However, the room was very clean with bathroom and kitchen, the building is brand New. It was a bit noisy but overall Nice for one night.

Everything Great

It was a great stay. I was cautious at first because of some of the other comments, but I had such a great experience. The place itself was great, used the gym and the pool. Very close to the beach. The neighborhood is not high class, but it's also not anything dangerous. Great place to stay, especially if you have to work remotely, like I had to.

nice location, walking distance from Museum of Natural Sciences...great if you like quiet evenings but far from the action if you want a late night hangout. Clean little room, wasn't really clear on the listing that this is in fact university residences, but may have just been that I didn't read the fine print. Now that I have explored Barcelona I would stay closer to the Gothic quarter but the area of this property is still very good and I would still recommend staying there if you're on a budget and don't need nightlife as it is very accessible by public transit.

The university accommodation facilities were excellent especially the kitchen facilities, but the noise from students staying in the property was awful - every night shouting, banging doors and playing loud music. It would make sense to keep students on separate floors to those staying in the accommodation

Weekend stay in budget university accommodation

This isn’t a hotel. You are staying in a spare students room within a university. The room itself was adequate with good shower in the en-suite. However as this is not a hotel there is no TV, no iron and most annoyingly no soap or shower gel. The accommodation is a metro ride or long walk away from central Barcelona but metro station only about 5 minute walk. Nearest beach 15- 20 min walk. Staff very friendly on reception and felt very secure staying there with security on the door. Felt safe at all times with a small supermarket nearby. Cheapest option for a solo traveller and if you’re happy to use the metro to get about, not really an inconvenience

Overall, nothing special.... No daily room cleaning service. I was 9 days and had only once room cleaned. Only 3 towels available. No soap and shampoo available.... The pool is not the pool, just to say in short. Gym is just Ok, no enough equipment. Location is about 25 minutes by bus for main sightseeing areas in downtown. Beach is relatively close about 15 minutes walking distance, which is good. The hotel is just good for solo travelers who don't want to spend much time in the hotel and to be prepared to do a lot of walking and using public transportation. No breakfast or any food available in hotel. Overall the hotel is very basic and price of stay should be much lower.

Great for the money

My flight got in at 9am and I wasnt allowed to check-in until 4pm. I asked if early check-in was possible and I was told no. So, they offered to hold my bags while I figured out what to do for 7 hours. One of the older guys in the 'control' shirt spoke no English but was so incredibly hospitable. He made sure I could charge my phone and had wifi access. I ended up taking the bullet train to Madrid for the day. My stay was good, except I had to keep asking for a roll of toilet paper. But the room is clean and comfortable. The location is perfect too- right near multiple dining options and a grocery store. Uber drivers didnt have a hard time locating it.
