I visited this hotel 2 years ago. Since then certainly hone down. Check in staff were slow, room AC kept malfunctioning, toilets had mould in them. Breakfast items were very boring and sometimes been there for days. Definitely not 4 star any more. Still convenient location near tower glories station, but there are much better options nearby.

The room was incredibly clean and spacious, the bed was super comfortable and the staff was also very nice and always ready to help! Everything was super clean and there is even a guard at all hours of the day near the reception - which makes people feel very safe! I sadly didn't get to use the pool and Gym room but I hope I get to do it next time! I would 100% recommend staying here because you're not far from L1 wich has very good connectivity and 5 minutes behind the hotel there is the Westfield Mall wich was also super convenient!

Good location. Breakfast very good. Pool area good, kids loved the pool. Unfortunately rooms are very dated and bathrooms require major updating! I would recommend this location however not this hotel in particular as it requires updating.

We arrived and checked in, we had booked a family room and had to ask 4 times for our room to be made up to a family room before this was done 8hrs later. The breakfast Was ok. The room could do with abit of an update the shower was not very nice to look at, around the bottom of the shower tray was all black with mold. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for the kids. Not a large area so some days we had to sit on the ledge but this was nice to look out. It’s a good hotel for the kids for sure.

Great location, mall right next to the hotel. Bus/trolley stops within 1-2 blocks. Delicious breakfast buffet! Very professional and friendly staff. Big thank you to Katia at the front desk. Room is very small, and bathroom too open, floor was always wet after showers.

It was a good hotel. The staff was very friendly and the location was great. The beds weren’t very comfortable, though, and the dinner at the hotel (I know, why would we eat at the hotel) wasn’t the best. I would still recommend for anyone going to Barcelona.

The staff at Novotel Barcelona City were excellent - they went out of their way to help us, even flagging down a taxi when we needed it. Housekeeping was equally friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the room itself was dated, and we ran into maintenance issues. The sink was clogged on our first night Location-wise, if you want to be in the center of everything, this isn’t it—it’s about a 10-15 minute ride from the main attractions. That said, there’s an outdoor mall right next to the hotel and it’s conveniently near a subway line, which helped with getting around the city. We did find it challenging to order taxis, even when we tried to split our group of 6 into two cars, though this may be a Barcelona-wide issue rather than specific to the hotel. The team’s hospitality was the saving grace, but the room condition and maintenance issues brought down the overall experience.
