Great central position close to town centre. Good sized room very clean with a balcony. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Free available parking was a real bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Angenehmes Hotel, nette Gastgeber

Das Personal in dem Hotel ist sehr freundlich und auf die Zufriedenstellung der Gäste bedacht. Die Installationen im Bad sind etwas altmodisch. Das einzige für mich unangenehme war, dass das Hotel nicht dort zu finden war, wo es auf google maps eingezeichnet ist. Die genaue Adresse ist "1 Via Sant' Antonio Abate, Barga" nicht "1 Via Sant' Antonio, Barga/Castelvecchio"

the owners of the hotel were extremely kind and supportive people. I went to attend a congress that was far from the hotel pergola. every day the owners gave me a ride because the taxi cost 15 euros and I had to do it for 5 days. the hotel is quiet and well located.

Actually, very old hotel as the rooms are. If you will need one queen size bad be ready to get 2 single beds connected. Very strange bathroom without flexible shower head, so you can`t take a shower without your head getting wet. Shower for the kids are impossible, actually. Staff are very pleasant.

Lovely friendly small hotel

The hotel is close to the centre of the lovely old town of Barga. Staff are really friendly and helpful. My room was second floor with an attractive balcony and virtually all day sunshine. The most wonderful feature of the hotel is the rooftop terrace which has great 360 degree views of the fantastic scenery. And there are even hot tubs up there for summer visitors! Breakfast is very good with the usual cheese, ham and fruits, croissants, etc. The only feature I could find to criticise is that the inroom shower cubicles are somewhat small, but that's quite often seen in many Italian hotels, I don't really find it a major problem,

Very friendly staff who do speak some English which was very helpful on our first night in Italy. Convenient location with some parking. Easy but steep walk into the old town. Choice of bars and places to eat. No aircon in room so it was quite a warm night. Wifi only in lobby.

Nettes kleines Hotel mit großer Dachterrasse

Nettes kleines Hotel in den Bergen von Barga. Das Personal war supernett!!! Das Frühstück, welches man optional zubuchen konnte, war ausreichend und lecker. Prunkstück des Hotels ist die Dachterrasse, welche einen herrlichen Ausblick bietet und den ganzen Tag im Sonnenschein der Toskana liegt. Parkplätze bietet das Hotel bedingt an ( 5 Stellplätze direkt vor der Tür ) aber es ist kein Problem, in einer der nebenliegenden Seitenstraßen kostenlos eine Lücke zu finden. Die Altstadt von Barga, mit ein paar netten kleinen Restaurants und Bars ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Alles im Allen,....Top Preisleistung,....Jederzeit wieder!!! :-)

Nice Hotel Location in Barga

We only spent one night here but the hotel was in a good location for seeing the Barga area. You are within within distance of restaurants and there is a grocery store a block away. Staff were great and very helpful plus the views from the top floor patio were a real plus.

Adequate for a one night stay!

There was limited parking available, so had to park around the corner in another street. Not ideal!! There was no air conditioning in the room, so it was unbearably warm overnight so didn't sleep well.

Vintage & Charming Hotel

Petit Hôtel impeccable au charme très 'vintage'. Le personnel est jeune, souriant et accueillant. Les chambres et sanitaires sont très propres et bien entretenu... Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une salle très confortable. Quasiment dans le centre de cette belle petite ville de Barga. Small and very charming vintage hotel. The staff is young, friendly and smiling. Everything is very clean and in very good condition... last but not least : good coffee...

Walking distance to all sites

Whilst the hotel itself was a little dated in decoration, it was impeccably clean. Staff were kind and helpful, and their restaurant recommendations were spot on. We were able to walk all over this lovely old town. The roof has a covered patio area and the views are incredible.

Lovely hotel

All the staff were very friendly and helpful - could not be faulted! Hotel is in an excellent location (just a short walk from the old town) and free parking is provided. The roof terrace was especially welcomed with fantastic views of the old towna nd surounding countryside.The decor is old-stlye Italian but non the worse for that -- very clean and it had a lovely homely feeling. We would recommend this a very good place to stay in Barga and would stay there again.
