"I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work! The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market...

It was evident from the certificates and photos around the place that it had been a hotel & restaurant of note with award winning credentials. It isn’t a shiny glitzy hotel but equally the decor was quite tired and patched up in places. "Arrived here after driving several hundred miles and having a couple of meetings and so it was so refreshing that the reception staff were a bright and cheery at 8pm and very welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and clean with a very comfortable bed. One of the Best showers in any hotel I’ve stayed in and generally excellent. I will definitely stay there again."

"Great location, easy walking distance of city, and train station. Free parking was the main attraction, unusual so close to a city centre. Lots oof bars and restaurants, just around the corner. We loved Leicester. There was a fan in the bedroom, which was fine as it wasn't hot while we were there, but in next week's heat, I think the rooms will be too hot?"

"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"Problem for me was access to annex. Impossible to see the key pad to put in code. The position of lighting for the keypad was poor and key pad numbers far too small. Needs updating altogether. I did go back to reception and ask for a member of staff to come with me and open the door. They agreed it was difficult but were very helpful . "
