Great B&B

We were lucky enough to get a last minute booking here due to a change in our plans. Our hosts was superb, the location is great (on the seafront) and we were fortunate enough to take advantage of the free parking right outside. Lovely breakfast which we burnt of on a 20mile cycle ride to Dolgellau on the traffic free Mawwdach trail!

There wasn't anything to dislike . The room was lovely and clean . The breakfast was lovely. And Katie and Ste were very nice

We paid £90 for a Sunday night for 2 of us inc breakfast.Room was tired and workmanship to changes left a bit to be desired. We had a family room at the back. Not value for money in my opinion.Breakfast average. People nice enough.

Frühstück war gut. Besitzerin war freundlich. Mit wenigem Aufwand könnte man aus dem Hotel was tolles machen. Lage direkt am Strand.

Friendly hosts and a great breakfast

Good location, friendly attentive hosts, very chatty and welcoming. They are working their way through the place upgrading and maintaining. Great breakfast and a decent view of the beach.

サンセットビーチ

閑散期のためか、広い部屋を用意してくれたためより寛げた。北ウェールズ、スノードニア国立公園の観光拠点として良いと思う。ホテル近辺に路上駐車できるけれど、繁忙期は混雑するかもしれない。Barmouthは小さな町だけれど、飲食店や商店は比較的充実している。

Great Host.. Great Position and Fantastic Breakie

This was a surprise package. The Host Steve and his wife are very nice people and helpful. It is only a short walk to town, railway station, attractions and supermarkets. Plenty of parking out the front or in the side street. The room was a good size and enough room to store our stuff. The bathroom is a little small though workable. The shower was hot and strong. Stayed in a room without the beach view (I think room 2) though the back door could be opened to let a nice breeze through. A set of stairs to get to the room. Fully cooked breakfast was just the right size with plenty of cereal and yoghurt available. A nice view from the breakfast room which is on the ground floor. There is an Iceland and Tesco near the railway station.

A welcoming guest house. Good spacious rooms. Near to sea front. Excellent breakfast. Owners are friendly and attentive.

Nice B&B but noisy

The couple who ran the B&B were lovely and it was in an excellent position close to the beach and shops. The room was reasonably clean though when I had to move the bed to get something that had rolled underneath there was a lot of dust and some old peanuts and crisps. Not a big problem but a bit off-putting! The beds and bathroom were clean though. The dining room was spotless and the breakfasts were really good. The main reasons for the 3 stars were hard beds and noise. I know the fact that other guests were noisy is out of the owners control but the noise from the plumbing was loud enough that it both both me and my son were woken in the early hours when someone was using water in the room above us.There was also a lot of noise from the street maybe deliveries or bin collection at 5am one morning, dogs barking in the middle of the night and noisy (drunk??) people outside shouting to each other also in the early hours. I don't think these could necessarily be resolved but we weren't able to get a good nights sleep. We both found the mattresses too hard which made it hard to get to sleep and and we ached in the morning but that is down to personal preference. Other people might have loved them. Overall we had an enjoyable stay in Barmouth but next time we visit we will try somewhere else.

Most hideous stay we have ever experienced everything about the room and facilities were undescribable. We checked out early left breakfast after trying to sleep on a matress that had totally disintegrated. All owner was interested in was getting the money. Old tired room unclean with a disgusting matress. Dont stay here it will be the worst experience of your life and you will have to pay for the pleasure and the owners will not be interested in your complaint!
