The pub and food remains excellent but the accommodation is suffering from abuse by certain guests. During my last visit for business, my neighbour had tv on loud until 2am. Some fixtures like plug points were a little loose. My key card kept malfunctioning which was a minor inconvenience. Only minor downsides were the public area especially the lobby were boiling and the staff used the fire exit near the stairs to smoke outside of and propped the door open so the stairwell stunk of cigarettes."

"The staff were genuinely excellent—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They were kind to accommodate my request for a late checkout when I was running late. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease. Housekeeping clearly does a great job here, and everything felt fresh and comfortable throughout my stay. Location was good for me as I drove up there, there was enough parking spots. However, just for breakfast, there could be a few more options. Overall a great stay, I would definitely recommend."
