"Room was clean but very basic (as expected, to be fair) - lots of plastic, no kettle, poor quality blinds instead of curtains. The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, but what do you expect for £39? Parking easy - but you have to aware of which parking spaces are available - they are clearly marked up though."

"Check in was quick and efficient. We stayed on a Friday and were able to use the car park. Although we didn’t use the restaurant, we had a few drinks at the Norfolk tap which was lovely and staff great. We popped into the hotel for a nightcap and had a lovely chat to the night porter. Next time in Arundel, we will be sure to stay here again. A very positive experience "

"The hotel is in DESPERATE need of refurbishment. It’s incredibly run-down. The carpets are in a state in the communal areas a bedrooms and the whole place just needs work - drafty windows, peeling paint, scruffy furniture. But the building is lovely, the rooms are spacious and they are SUPER welcoming of dogs. The fridge was missing from our room, and the swimming pool is also needing some work. The bar food is a lot of frozen stuff, and not very nice. Think Weatherspoons. Breakfast buffet is good though. So much potential there, grounds are wonderful. Location great. Just needs a good clean and decorating! "
