"The hotel was located in a great spot, lots of wineries and restaurants in the area. Walking distance too. The hotel is self is clean and our 1 bed apartment was spacious and clean. Only minor issues were: Our toilet wouldn’t flush and I alerted staff but it was never fixed so hubby took it apart & fixed it himself & what I felt was a bit bold & direct is that there were laminated signs reminding us that “ if the linen was used without prior permission it would incur a fee” and if the spare key was lost a $50 fee, cleaning fee $50, Everything seemed to have a fee attached to it, so I was even too worried to use the spare blanket because it was a bit chilly. Or too nervous to spill a crumb off my plate. Or too scared we’d get told off for having light music on during dinner. I guess this was because people do have big parties, leave it in a mess and just leave. Which ruins it for everyone else who do the right thing. Other than that our stay was lovely. "

"The natural surrounds are beautiful and the gardens are very well maintained. However, the owners need to invest a lot more money in maintaining and updating all of the buildings throughout the resort. They are looking very run down and tired. The owner also needs to invest money in hiring more staff as they were few and far between. The Alcove outdoor bar/al fresco is advertised as being open from 11am everday but we we waited until 12 and it still wasn't open."

"Was a really nice experience, the room was super comfortable and the amenities were great. The rooms could use QR codes for in room, room service so you don’t have to call the front desk, but it’s easy enough to order uber eats. "

"Poorly cleaned rooms. Couldn't exit the hotel through the front lobby door as it was broken which meant we had to exit via the rear carpark and a side street. Not sure how this fits in with the fire codes."

"Just loved our stay here . Everything we wanted - including washing machine & drier . Perfect location and secure car park too"

"I wouldn’t opt for a room facing the pool and would put in a request not to be in future . Lots of mosquitos in the room and staff just explained away as we were ground floor near the pool area. The hotel don’t even sell mozzie plugs The room was clean but the mozzies detracted from stay and myself and daughter have reminders of the stay as we were both bitten by the mozzies multiple times "

"The kitchen was well equipped and the park was in a good location. Our rooms were excellent. We preferred our stay here than in a 4 star hotel in the CBD. "
