"We really enjoyed our stay at La Capitanna. The view is amazing and so was the food. We had their pizza and the breakfast was great (specifically the bread). Can't say enough good things about the hospitality as well everyone was so nice and we really loved the dogs. They went on a walk with us both days to keep us company. "

We could hear the sound of the ocean all day and night, the ocean breeze was soothing and kept us cool. The workers were absolutely fantastic helpful and acomodating. The owner was happy to share his story. The decorations and setting were super unique, authentic and amazing. All the facilities were impecably clean and the restaurant had a very diverse menu and were willing and able to accomodate...

Everything is exactly as pictured in the photos. We enjoyed a ceviche class one night and they set up a bonfire for us on the beach another night - both excellent and well thought-out. "Nice newly opened hotel with very friendly manager and staff. It is situated on a hill with a spectacular views to the sea. Great big pool with sea view. There is a tennis court and even a nice botanical garden (!), which I enjoyed a lot! There were also some cute zorritos to see around the area :)"

"Hotel has 12 cats. Also 3 dogs, but more importantly 12 cats :) Quiet oasis short walk away from noisy Mancora centre. Huge terrace to have breakfast, which was simple but filling. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, with comfortable bedding. Big shower cubicle. Staff is very responsive, my Spanish is not the greatest, so sometimes things got lost in translation, but we managed. Oh, did I mention that the hotel has 12 cats?"
