"Overall, the place was great. The staff was really humble and helpful; the general amenities were good and spacious; there’s a pool and breakfast buffet. The place is close to the main town but you’ll either need a car or find transportation. There is transportation available though (from the local services…). "This location was clean and pleasant - and about a 10-15 min walk to the centre of town with all the restaurants - which felt totally safe. It was just a very cute but basic 3 star hotel - we went during very high season so the price was high and all other hotels were sold out. "

"This is a very basic posada in a great location within easy walking distance to the river district. AC and WiFi worked well during my stay. The on-site staff were helpful and tolerant of my lack of Portuguese. Breakfast was nothing extravagant but just fine."
