"Good location in centre of Sherborne. Very reasonably priced room and the staff are friendly and helpful. The pub has a car park and is also just 5/10 minutes walk from station. The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. "This was our second stay in this beautiful old manor house situated peacefully within a few minutes walking distance of West Bexington Beach. Once again we had a wonderful stay.
The food was very good. There is an excellent choice for breakfast, all of which was nicely cooked and presented. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good with a varied menu choice.
The bedrooms are a little tired in places but this in no way reflects the cleanliness of the room nor comfort of the mattress,...
