"We had 2 nights stay at the Royal Swan.
We had a great welcome at check in and the room was spacious with a good bathroom.
It wad very hot while we were there and we would have been grateful for aircon or even a fan.
However it was really good value for money."

"It was a nice little hotel, room was spotless and the staff were very friendly.
However, if the current hot weather is going to be a recurring feature in future years, then the hotel may want to consider installing air conditioning going forward.
Obviously the heat wasn’t the fault of the hotel, and it didn’t detract the enjoyment of my stay. It’s merely a suggestion for the future."

"The room itself (room 1 deluxe) is well designed & sympathetically decorated to the age of the building giving a feeling of opulence meets modern. The toilet cisterns take ages to refill but I suspect this is due to the age of the plumbing! The bed is very comfy.
The downside to the room is that in the unprecedented heat there was inadequate little fan which meant leaving the french doors open during the night. This faced a main junction so traffic noise was an issue. The building itself is old...
