Good food and adaptable to dietary needs etc. Scenic beach with big waves although for swimming or souvenirs it is best to go to the other nearby beach using the excellent free shuttle service. Bed is comfy, with good in room facilities including fridge, hairdryer and nice toiletries. Lots of lounging options around gardens and pool. Stunning scenery."

"This villa is architecturally impressive with great views over the sea. The staff are very helpful and professional and the food is good. The infinity pool is one of the best we've seen. It is in a rural setting so it's worth venturing out. Definitely recommend spending a day at Selong Balanak beach about 20km away. "After reading the great reviews about Amber we were still expecting to be mildly disappointed. This was definitely not the case! Food was incredible, rooms were awesome, and staff were so friendly they made you feel like family. It’s not a 5 star hotel chain experience, but that’s not what you go to Lombok for. If you love the beach, salt water, and lazing by a pool at a resort with a stylish / rustic beach design you’ll love Amber. "

"Nous avons passé 3 nuits sur l’île de Gili Gede et le Kokomo hôtel était vraiment top ! Tous les services nécessaires étaient excellents et il y avait de petits restaurants locaux accessibles à proximité. Trois nuits sont largement suffisantes car l’île est petite et n'est pas du tout développée, ce qui en fait un lieu idéal pour se reposer loin de l’agitation. "It was very nice to tri this Hotel for one night. We were the only ones on the resort!! Very beautiful resort with hut house. Some have 2 floors and others on the seafront with open air!! We also had a/c in the room although it is not really insulated !! We are very good !! The swimming pool is also very beautiful and a large part with little water allows you to relax on a chair. "Le cadre, les chambres sont superbes, la piscine au sel (tellement plus agréable que le chlore) et le personnel au petits soins. La musique omniprésente (resto, bar piscine et plage) gâche un peu l'expérience de calme recherchée à cet endroit. Le restaurant est bon mais pas exceptionnel. L'hôtel est un peu isolé et sa situation rend plus difficile une escapade dans le village d'à coté (attention aux marées la plage disparaît lors de la marée haute). Baignade difficile durant la marée basse....
