"Perfect location to stay at if you are visiting Castle Hohenschwangau and Castle Neuschwanstein. Bus up to Castle Neuschwanstein is next to hotel. The breakfast was included and was very good. One of our rooms had an amazing view of Castle Neuschwanstein."

"Afgelopen maand zijn mijn vrouw en ik op vakantie geweest naar Italie, en was dit hotel een mooie gelegenheid om te overnachten. Op de heenreis hadden wij een perfecte kamer, welke wij ook hadden gehoopt te hebben op de terugreis, maar dat was niet zo, we hadden nu een kamer in de steil van "Hans en Grietje", we zijn hierdoor ook de volgende ochtend ( zonder ontbijt ) op tijd vertrokken naar huis."

"Ein tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Anreise mit der Gondel ist ein Highlight. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. "Our room was very clean, attractive and modern, and the view was beautiful in the valley. The hotel staff were friendly. There are walking trails all around. The road to the nearest waterfall was closed for repairs. The door to one of our room 7 family suite balconies was broken and barely possible to open or securely close which made cooling the room difficult in the 35C heat. "Wir waren rundum super zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und werden ganz sicher wiederkommen! * Zimmer: Unser Zimmer war sehr ordentlich, absolut sauber und die Ausstattung hat für unseren Aufenthalt vollkommen ausgereicht. * Frühstück: Das Frühstücksbuffet war ein echtes Highlight – sehr schön und mit viel Liebe angerichtet. * Wellness & Umgebung: Die Saunalandschaft ist wunderschön gestaltet und lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein. "The room was clean and provided all the amenities. The hotel staff was kind. Minuses — dogs barking and dogs off leash and left unattended. We were awoken by a dog barking every morning around 7:00 am, the start of breakfast. Obviously, the dog was left unattended. Outdoor furniture was covered and not available for those who wanted to sit outside and enjoy a drink on the patio. The location was great, but very crowded with tourists. It was a nice stay, but we wouldn’t stay here again."

"Excellent stay! The hotel’s location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area. The rooms were very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. "Hotellet ligger rigtig godt og meget smukt mellem bjergene. Vi ankom i elbil, og hotellet har egne ladestander i deres p-kælder og der var fem offentlige standere på hotellets parkeringsplads, men man kunne ikke booke en tid, hvilket gjorde det lidt svært i forhold til ladning. Hotellets personale kunne desværre ikke hjælpe os, og se kendte heller ikke priserne på ladning. Med i opholdet var der Grainau Gästekarte som gjorde man kunne benytte offentlig transport gratis, hvilket vi gjorde - da...

"Was told Expedia overcharged by a huge amount. Was told that using the spa would cost an extra €50 per room although Expedia declared this as included. Motion sensor, light in roomcomes on throughout the night, the front desk is aware of this, but hasn’t done anything about it. Rooms extremely hot with no fans and no AC. How is this a four star hotel?"
