"Clean room and cleaned daily. Layout was pleasant and I loved being able to have my side light on while my husband's was off. Breakfast was traditional toast with butter, peanut butter or jam if desired, bagels with butter or cream cheese, waffles and syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage (which many said were fantastic!) or ham, yogurt, milk, juice and fresh fruit. "Idyllic and quaint spot that’s wonderfully quiet and calm with a gorgeous view. The staff were all so friendly and gave great recommendations. Digby was so sweet although it was an adjustment to keep track of the much shorter open hrs of stores and restaurants (especially in Annapolis Royal!). Sydney Street Pub had The.Best. wings. The hotel is absolutely showing its age but has updated windows and HVAC and is clean and tidy. Its simplicity was perfect for us."

"Pool was ice cold. Charged every night unauthorized on credit card for a prepaid hotel stay. When spoke to staff, they couldn’t figure it out until third attempt of complaining. Price is expensive for what you get in Windsor. For the two weeks we stayed could have went to Mexico all inclusive. Breakfast starts at 6am but all the food options do not come out until closer to 0700. So if you work at 0645 and are staying here don’t pay for breakfast here."

"Room didn't have soap for the bathroom, which is fine by the way, but when I asked the front desk they were unable to assist so I had to go out and buy my own soap! Also, when checking out and putting my stuff in the car, a staff member came out and told me to settle up at the front desk. They didn't want to honor my Expedia transaction and asked me to pay for the two nights at a much higher rate. "This was a great stay right in the heart of Alma. We enjoyed walking around the town and exploring the nearby beach. The hotel is clean, pretty and the room was comfortable. We stayed with little kids and were comfortable. The restaurant was delicious."
