"We stayed in a lot of places in Paris and Normandy. This one was my absolute favorite. We drove from Paris and arrived at dusk. Seeing the Chateau revealed through the hedges in the evening light was magical. We explored the grounds a little later and spotted a fox hunting in a pasture. It was so calm and peaceful.
Our room was so spacious and I took the most relaxing bath after a full day of walking on a D-Day tour. The bed was incredibly comfortable and breakfast in the morning was delicious. If I were ever in the Normandy region again, this Chateau is my first choice."
"From check in to check out, we had a wonderful experience. So thankful that the owner recommended a restaurant, Carver, also owned by her family at a sister hotel. The hotel is very charming, well decorated, and had all we needed. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional. Thank you!"
"DON’T STAY until they replace the shower plumbing. The shower is smaller than a telephone booth (not so unusual) but the fixture is a single lever for both volume and temperature that is EASILY bumped with your body and can send scalding water into the shower. They need a dual control, one for temperature and one for volume, like we have had in numerous hotels throughout our travels in Europe. The current situation is unsafe and unacceptable.
Beyond that, the hotel is ideally located for tours, restaurants, and for exploring the area. It is clean and well maintained and the staff were helpful and friendly. It’s really a great hotel with a dangerous shower."
"Excellent property! Very clean and well furnished. Close to so many food options. Only issue we had was the gate to the parking lot wouldn’t open. It only happened twice and it was resolved quickly. We would definitely stay there again."
"Hotel is in a good location close to the market square and a number of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a simple unpretentious establishment and represents fair value for money. There is free public parking outside the hotel."
"The breakfast was disappointing for the price point charged.
The room and bathroom were nice sized;
the bed was uncomfortable. The pillows were not good quality as well.
There was great air conditioning but the blanket provided retained your body heat; we were very comfy when we went to bed but very hot starting about three hours after going to sleep."
