"I really liked the convenience of self check in and out . The room was cute and cozy, it had all that we needed for our stay. It was also a clean space . The common kitchen was also great. Only thing was the slow wifi when we came back after being out , which is understandable since everyone was on it too. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Had no issues which we didn't have to be in touch with the owners . Will stay here again ."

"We had a fantastic stay at Black Bear Lodge. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning wooden interior that gives it a real mountain lodge feel. It was incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to relax and unwind. The location was ideal too, tucked away in a quiet setting but only a short drive from local shops, restaurants and other amenities. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Stayed at Sierra cabin towards the back of the property (of note, Yurts are at a different location just down the road). Very clean, friendly staff, very relaxing grounds. Patrons were all respectful during our stay and everyone seemed to value the collective feeling of serenity/peace. Excellent supplies in terms of all needed utensils in clinic, only negative was regarding spice rack, some were expired but really not enough of a negative to take away from the experience. "The room was tidy but the bedsheets had a cigarette burn on them, and there was a hole on the wall near the floor bigger than a golf ball. The bathroom had brown splatter near the baseboards, and there was dirty paper towels scrunched under the sink. There was also no extra toilet paper other than the one provided. Also the bathroom window didn’t have a screen and the window wouldn’t stay open by itself so we put a bottle to hold it open. The front desk was kind and helpful."

I turned it on but my thermostat showed the temperature as: 79 degrees before I went to bed. I opened the window & had to leave it open all night. "The hotel is right in the middle of the plaza so location was great. However, it was very difficult to figure out where to park. The hotel entrance only has valet parking. We had to go out to find the parking lot which wasn't well marked. Signage was poor. There were many entrances and exits in and around the hotel that we got lost trying to get back to the parking garage (with fees). Otherwise, the hotel is clean. We were only there for one night for a birthday party within walking distance, so...

"The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pool area is a nice amenity with a bbq which we used to bbq steaks and brats. Breakfast was yummy and filling. The Lakeshore beach was just ok. We didn’t care for the course hard sand and long walk through it to get to the shore. We did find Eldorado Beach a mile down the road which we didn’t have to pay to get into with a nicer sandy beach and they played live music. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
