"Very cozy place to stay. The property has a lot to offer however, we came early June and the restaurant and a few other things open late June. That was unexpected for me. Otherwise a great stay. Cozy in the woods. Our room was cabin like feel but clean and a hotel room. We enjoyed it."

"After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return"

"The room next door had a bath tub spa which was up against my rooms bed headboard When the spa tub was turned the noise and vibration was like a jet liner sitting on top of my room. This crazy load noise and vibration went on for and hour, before the folks next door turned it off. Then I was able to get to sleep. Terrible noise problem with spa tub."

"Had our dog and choices are slim in North Lake area. I didn't expect much but was disappointed we couldn't connect to internet, no coffee maker, and it was a bit dirty. The room was spacious and beds good-sheets smelled nice and clean. Location great- across the street from dog park on the Lake!"

"The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

"The room was tidy but the bedsheets had a cigarette burn on them, and there was a hole on the wall near the floor bigger than a golf ball. The bathroom had brown splatter near the baseboards, and there was dirty paper towels scrunched under the sink. There was also no extra toilet paper other than the one provided. Also the bathroom window didn’t have a screen and the window wouldn’t stay open by itself so we put a bottle to hold it open. The front desk was kind and helpful."

"BEWARE! If you are booking through a third party, the fees are NOT the same as what is advertised. And management does not address any issues. Was charged the most that I’ve ever been charged for a pet cleaning fee, and the room had dog hair on the headboard when we checked in. It’s completely outdated, old TVs, no device charging setups. It looks as if the last time they put money into upgrades was over 10 years ago. It is not a good value. KEEP DRIVING!!! There are way better accommodations...
