"We book the hotel on the same day and when we arrived, no one was there. We kept calling a phone number and after many attempts someone responded and came later. We had to wait by the road after the whole day of driving. It didn't feel like arriving to 4stars hotel but a not well organised B@B. "Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "When I arrived 4pm there no one at the restaurant I have to get the help from coffee shop opposite to call them up and waited half an hour. Later the restaurant reopen til midnight. It was Maundy Thursday the street was packed to enter the church, i couldn’t drive to the castle sq, not a free parking area, I have drive a further 100 m. The room on a narrow back street . Could nt use the tv, depleted battery controller. I was greeted by a handsome young man who can speak English "

"Very luxurious castle type property-beds are great . We had two rooms on 2nd floor - which is really like a 3 rd - hefty walk - especially with sets of luggage . Pool was amazing - they forgot to open washroom by pool - oh well . Michelin wasn’t opened that day - sad - but bistro was adequate. Road in is in terrible shape . Overall a very chill place - great staff and rooms etc . It’s just designed more for events than “ actual “ guests I believe "

"There are a couple of areas where this property falls short. Firstly it advertises parking but there is no parking, you are taking your chances on a very busy downtown street. You get charged another 10 euro a day if you dare to use the air conditioning and it must be in cash. Half a small pottle of yogurt each for breakfast is a touch inadequate. However the rooms are clean, tiny but clean. "
