We have used this stop over a number of times over a decade. Excellent facilities, secure parking, comfy beds, powerful shower. Great breakfast. A short walk into the town. Great hosts. Will definitely book again.

Beautiful traditional French family home in stunning surroundings which we was delighted to stay at, on arrival the dog roxxy greeted us with a huge smile and we spent 10 minutes playing football with her, the owner Roch is a top man , very friendly and easy going. Hotel was easy to find, conveniently close to the motorway, but far enough away to be peaceful. The staff were welcoming and attentive without being obsequious or obtrusive. The hotel car park is adjacent and felt secure, reassuring as we had a full car load. Our room was clean and comfortable, with pleasantly and tastefully decorated. What an amazing place this is! So lucky to find this property hidden away in lovely countryside, which sits in fantastic grounds and gardens. Beautiful in every way. The owner has put so much love into it and filled it with lovely furniture and antiques.

Second stay here. 2 nights on the way from Calais to Perigord. Lovely rooms, food and drink. Not cheap but worth it. AC very welcome especially for our ageing Labrador!

Great value for money, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is a great, easy to visit the city centre but quiet and safe at night. The beds were really comfy and the breakfast was great too. I would also recommend the restaurant next door. Would stay again.

We spent 2 nights at the hotel & were impressed with the comfort of the beds & the quality of the food at both breakfast & dinner. The premium sports channel on which I could watch the Manchester football derby & the US Masters golf was an unexpected bonus. The staff were friendly & helpful. When my wife accidently left her bag in the restaurant, one of the waiting staff raced after us to return it.

Good communication. We called in advance to say we were arriving quite late. We were given clear instructions regarding codes and how to get in. We had issues with another hotel that didn’t have a contact number, so I truly appreciate the fact that it was possible to call and speak to a member of staff before arriving. The room was very clean and we slept very well to continue our journey the next day.
