Staff is rude especially to foreigners. Booked 2 Rooms for 6 people through Expedia. The hotel staff gave us 2 double rooms. When I told them, that 3 people cannot sleep in a double bed and we need rooms with 2 big beds. It took ages till I got at least one room with big beds. Manager accused me of being impolite and rude. After 2 hours not solving my problem, I think it is hard to stay polite.

The front desk staff are poorly trained, I called in the morning to extend my stay and whomever picked up the phone promised me that we would stay at the same room. So i booked another night and left to run my errands; however when we returned to our original room, the key was no longer working and we were locked out. Stayed at this hotel for 12 days with my elderly mother. We loved it so much that we will return on the next trip to Beijing. Staff were attentive and helpful. Hotel breakfast is generally excellent (只是小米粥不热、馄饨皮厚). Centrally located and close to the metro line #8. All the shopping and sightseeing are super accessible. There is a theater across the street. It’s amazing.
