"The price paid reflected the area the hotel is in. I knew this when I booked it. However, there was mold on the bathroom door, and the pillow smelt distinctly of cigarettes. The door doesn’t have an extra lock on the inside, and access to the room is via a pin pad. Self check in machine told me my room was unavailable when I arrived (at about 7pm) and advised me to go to the check in desk, which was empty. The gentleman that came about 10 minutes later was lovely and very kind. Parking is free...

. The room was a good size, comfy bed, clean bathroom. Parking outside front entrance free for 30 minutes, thereafter 1.40 euros for an hour up to 7pm then free until 9am. Public gardens outside and a park across the road, handy for walking our dog. Staff exceptionally helpful went the extra mile to locate a phone charging plug to fit our phones, and generally pleasant. "
