"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

"Overall stay was pleasurable. Nice cottage and quiet surrounds. Just a few things- Lucky key box was already open as we weren’t sent a code or check-in details. Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. No curtain to cover the window facing the loft bedroom which let the hot sun beam...

"Our stay was fantastic. The property was clean, quiet, and easy to get to. The staff was absolutely amazing! The airline lost one of our bags and it happened to be the one with our converters in it. The staff was kind eblnough to loan us one for the night so we could use a medical device. The next day when our bag was delivered the staff placed it in out room so it was waiting for us when we got back late that evening."

"Booked the Delux Queen Room as it looked the best through the photos provided. Was quite disappointed with how outdated everything was, considering it is the most expensive room. Booking a cheaper one would have given me the same quality and saved me some cash 😔 The Chinese restaurant on side was great, though!"

"It’s very dated and gives domitory style accommodation. Walls are very thin and I could hear everything in the next room and corridor. I could hear a man in an adjuscent room snore the whole night. Staff are not available onsight after-hours. I had to walk a very long way from my room to get hot water/tea and use the microwave which is in the common room, because the taps closest to me were broken. My room was full of ants and the bathroom tiles are brown with stains. Bed not so comfortable but...
