"It’s a beautiful property. The staff is helpful but somewhat impersonal.’ It runs like a 4 star property. It could be a 5 star property, but there is no attention to detail. Overall is a nice property."

"Golden Bay Hotel in Belize is the best! It is clean, and the service is good. In addition to the hotel, it has a rooftop restaurant, a cafe on the 1st floor, and a variety store where you can buy food, books, household goods, and souvenirs. In addition, there is a top-split-level department store above the variety store. If you are considering building a home, there are beautiful fixtures, selections of tiles, tubs/shower ect. The hotel is still in the process of expanding at this time (10/2026). This will provide more amenities and new experiences for guests. The location is great, so put on your sneakers and explore the city. It is within walking distance of downtown Belize, the casino, clubs, the water taxi to the cayes, and the tourist village. Oh yes, there are also fishermen close to the hotel with freshly caught fish. Go and enjoy yourselves! I am excited about expansion!"
