There was some initial confusion as the hotel check-in instructions stated someone with a name board would be waiting at the airport/ferry port but none was there - however there were plenty of taxis available and after a driver confirmed with hotel staff on a call that nobody had been sent specifically we were able to make our way to the hotel.

We stayed 1 night and really liked it! The staff were friendly, rooms clean and airy with lots of light coming in, the food in the hotel restaurant delicious and we specifically enjoyed that we could watch the sharks and seals whilst having dinner, as it’s so close by the water!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Max and Lourdes were really friendly, helpful and welcoming. Also the location is great - it’s central, a very short walk to the port for boat trips and also on the road that leads to Tortuga Bay.

Note that this review is based on a father and 5yr old son travelling in the Galapagos Islands. We booked several nights here and it was one of the best choices we made. The hosts helped us on numerous occasions with advice, guidance, collected us from the ferry, and booked our taxi for the airport. The room provided was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable and firm which was just what we needed upon our return from our daily tours. It is not far from the seafront and main street....

Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Nice breakfast every morning. Pool to relax. Booked sea view rooms which had nice views. Restaurant within walking distance. Small walk to centre. Enjoyed stay. Recommended

Excellent boutique hotel, about a 15 minute taxi ride from Puerto Ayora ($7). Tortoises roam the 12 acre hotel grounds, for which guided tours are dispensed by Sava the hotel dog! Great breakfast and the option of having dinner prepared and sitting round a big dining table with other guests. Small swimming pool on site and a yoga studio, decent WiFi (for the Galápagos Islands).
