A REMARKABLE VIEW Of the many day walks on offer around the Queenstown Region the walk along the One Mile track veering along the western trails eventually open up to some of the most epic views over Queenstown toward The Remarkables. The walk takes about 2hrs return and well worth the hike as the reward up top is superb. The Kamana Lakehouse is exceptional. We felt very well taken care of our whole stay. The front desk staff was extremely accomodating, holding our bags before check in and taking them to our room and booking a taxi for an excursion. The servers and bar staff we're great as well. Nice, but nothing special. No restaurant or bar , had to walk up the hill to another hotel. No airport shuttle available. Aircon was noisy, and had a notification on the screen that the air filter needed to be changed. It was clean and comfortable- ok for a night before flying out , but not great ...
