"Heated and air-con tents with electricity and lighting. Lovely bar and separate restaurant. Received a huge welcome. Sahara desert is 4 mins walk where you find camels and buggies. There is a hot spring in the centre of the village free for all to swim in 2 mins walk. I hired a 4x4 trip from reception and journeyed into the Sahara for 3 hours. Peaceful, lovely pool and gardens. Quiet. Wake up to the fresh air and birds singing. "

The owner told us the Expedia reservation we had made almost a month prior was automatically accepted and promised to find us alternative lodging. The alternative was near by and sufficient although not perfect. But it was by complete chance that a family of five did not arrive to a non-existent hotel in the evening in...

"Compared to say the Iberostar resort which was 10€ cheaper for a nice huge room at a beach resort with dinner this was a bad value. If it was half to a third of the price I could recommend. However this was the most expensive room I had out of 6 hotels in my trip to Tunisia. It was the smallest room and had a small shower with a dirty bathmats. It was set up for only one person. They brought me another towel and shampoo but not an extra glass. The bed had a crinkly plastic cover on it. I asked...
