"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great! "Thaala Bentota is an excellent place to relax during a vacation. Awesome location and amazing food. The rooms and fittings inside the room are a bit worn out and may need replacement to enhance the visitors' experience."

"My wife and I stayed at Riff Hikkaduwa for 3 nights. The hotel is situated about a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from Hikkaduwa town but is easily accessible. The hotel is clean and staff are very nice. The room we stayed in was spacious and well equipped overlooking the beach, which was stunning. The food is tasty with multiple options available for breakfast and dinner. The pool has a lovely view out towards the beach. My wife also enjoyed a back massage at the spa. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

"This property sits right along the shore of a beautiful, clean, white sandy beach with warm water and soft lapping waves. The property itself is currently going through some needed upgrades, but, everything was beautiful and pretty well-maintained. The units that have a patio with access to the pool were wonderful. The buffet breakfast every morning was delicious and there were lots of things to choose from. We really enjoyed the staff. They seem to care a lot about our happiness and were very helpful."
