"Located in a not quite salubrious part of town, first impressions are mixed. However the owner is very welcoming (without any English being spoken) and the hotel has a rustic, individual charm. The room was quiet and clean, with a level of amenity to be expected. The highlight of the stay was the meal in the hotel restaurant - freshly cooked, local influence and great value. The owner was attentive and keen to please."

"The castle is dramatic in it's contruction and the tour well worth the time. The hotel is part of the fort itself and is old and charming. Some rooms are being updated, but ours was already good. Staff friendly and efficient. Parking easy."

"La chambre qui m'a été attribuée donnait sur une route très passante (véhicules), donc beaucoup de bruit, tard le soir et tôt le matin. Pas de restauration le dimanche soir contrairement à ce qui m'avait été annoncé et même garantie (par courriel) sous la forme d'une réservation d'une table! Le service du petit-déjeuner est, à ma convenance, servi tardivement pour ceux qui sont en séjour professionnel."

Wellness correct et propre (demandez que le hammam et le sauna soient branchés). Repas raffiné et très facile à digérer. Petit déjeuner complet (sauf un jus d’orange frais et pas de fruits frais). Parking facile. Beau jardin aménagé et magnifique vues de la chambre et de la salle à manger. Une bonne adresse."
