A gem of a find

Peaceful location in a gorgeous village with lots of interesting walks right from the doorstep. Large , comfortable and clean room and bed - tea, coffee, hot chocolate , bottled water and biscuits supplied on request. Delicious breakfast served in the light and airy dining room: cereals , truly fresh fruit salad, cooked to order bacon, sausages, black pudding, haggis, mushrooms, eggs and beans. Friendly and helpful staff. Such a shame the owners are retiring at the end of next month and the building will be taken over by an Outdoor Activity group.

Extremely friendly B&B

A very friendly B&B which made for a pleasant and welcoming overnight stop on our journey to the Scottish Moray Coast. The couple running Estate House were extremely friendly and we were sorry to hear they are retiring this autumn and the house will no longer be a B&B - we will try to squeeze another visit in before then!

This is a gem beautiful old estate house run by a delightful couple for whom nothing is too much trouble. A very calming relaxed place to stay with a gorgeous garden to chill in. A massive pity that it will cease to be accommodation after October but happy retirement.

Excellent trip with superb first class hosts!!

Most enjoyable 3 night stay at The Estate House. Would highly recommend to anyone just wanting some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of life. Bill and Debs are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They are very friendly and professional! Thanks for letting us stay!!

Great location

On arrival we were met by Bill who gave us a warm welcome and also booked us into a local dining place as they did not do evening meal that day. The location was great close to a castle and ford across a local river. Our room was very clean and comfortable although the bathroom mirror looked likely to fall off the wall and the grouting needed attention. Breakfast was great, full Scottish with haggis, cereals and toast.The bacon was to die for. Would certainly recommend the Estate House .

Beautiful setting fabulous food

Beautiful setting for lovely accommodation. We were so well looked after enjoying both dinner and breakfast. Really interesting building in a fascinating village complete with a castle at the bottom of the garden. Highly recommend
