Lots of charm at the Mulburn Inn

The Mulburn Inn is a wonderful, restored place with a lot a charm. The Innkeeper couldn't be more helpful and nice. Our only issue is the lack of certain amenities like an electric outlet in the bathroom for a toothbrush or a bedside table for books, etc. However, I'd rather stay there with all its charm than in a hotel with all the modern amenities. And, the breakfasts are fantastic.

Breakfast was delicious, lodgings were cozy and tastefully appointed, and the owner, Mary, was very accommodating and made helpful recommendations of nearby places to visit. My husband and I would definitely come back for another stay.

Beautiful older building with great common rooms in an excellent location. The bedroom was very roomy, but the bathroom needed some maintenance. The owner was extra nice and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area. The breakfasts were top-notch.

Lovely warm hotel run by a star

The Mulburn Inn is a beautiful period property nestled in the White mountains. Mary the owner is a delightful relaxed lady making you feel super welcome and comfortable during your stay. If you like beautiful home cooked food (her spiced pumpkin cake is wonderful) then this is the place for you. The only thing that may need doing is painting the outside of the property, but this is happening this year, so it will be a fully fabulous place to stay once this has been completed. Enjoy your stay here, we certainly did.

The owner Mary is so attentive and helpful. She bakes a really good breakfast too! There is always a sweet treat out in the hall table, and coffee/tea/yogurt/granola available

New Hampshire Charm

Very old house with lots of original features. We spent 3nights here and thoroughly loved it. Close to the White Mountains and all the beauty of the area. Mary and Kay were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it .

The best B&B in New Hampshire

After 4 weeks of traveling in Maine, New Brunswick and New Hampshire we finally stayed at an outstanding B&B. A former Woolworth family retreat, Mary the hostess has created a gorgeous retreat for road weary travelers. Huge, stunning rooms. Living rooms with amazing beautiful woodwork. Gorgeous fireplaces. Wrap around porches with comfortable rockers. And, a hostess who can't do enough for you. 5 stars.

Mulburn Inn, Bethlehem NH

Great B&B to relax and enjoy some restful time in the White Mountains. Mary, the Innkeeper is delightful, a great host who welcomed us into her beautiful historic home. Many different public sitting areas within the home, and both enclosed and open porches to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Great location within a short drive to the Cog Railway for Mt Washington and the Franconia State Park Hiking Trails, Basin, Flume Gorge. Good dining in the area, and the Weathervane Theatre in Whitefield (great theatre company) are a short drive. The room (Madison) was very comfortable, the bedding was fantastic (a room frequented by Thomas Edison. Check out the history of this Inn.

Beautiful and comfortable Inn

Beautiful home reminiscent of an era long gone. Mark who was filling in while Mary was away, proved to be a gracious, accommodating and fun-to-be-around host. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

The Mulburn House is gorgeous. And Mary was so gracious and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious! My only complaint was that our room (the Monroe Room) was a bit cramped. On my next stay I'd request one of the other larger beautiful rooms. But definitely a thumbs up for this place!

Beautiful older house with interesting history! Guest roooms are spacious (except one small one) and lovely, comfortable common areas. Loved the Innkeeper! Her fresh baked cookies are to die for and she was more than accommodating.

My wife and I have stayed at the Mulburn Inn several times, for different reasons. Mary is a superb host and the Inn is warm, attractive, and full off history. Mulburn Inn will always be our first choice when we are in that area of NH..

The owner Mary is so nice! She makes delicious breakfast and one of the days that we couldn't make breakfast, she put together a delicious cheese platter for us. The rooms are spacious and very clean with very comfy beds. We would absolutely stay here again!! Thanks Mary for being spectacular!!!

A wonderful spot with a wonderful host!

We had a lovely time at the Mulburn Inn. The space was very comfortable and cozy and our host was super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend this to others and would certainly stay here again!

This beautiful historic inn has it all.

We stayed 3 nights at the Mulburn Inn over New Years' weekend, and we will definitely be going back again. The inn is lovely and so is Mary. The rooms and shared spaces are large, clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. You can always find a relaxing place to read by the fire, chat with other guests, read, play games or watch TV. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. They even provided an outlet to plug in our electric vehicle. There is plenty to do nearby, including hiking, skiing, restaurants, and shops. It was the perfect place for a winter getaway.
